Live Oak

This area is nestled between Santa Cruz and the busy shopping area of Capitola. One positive of this area is it is not much more of commute from the Silicon Valley to hop here into a neighborhood, it has a bit more of rural feel and a lot of the homes are more spread out. At one time this had quite a bit of farming and chicken ranches which has created some large deep lots. I raised my family here and it was quite peaceful we lived on a deep lot with lots of privacy. Access to shopping and mobility to move around does win over some other areas where tourist and student traffic confines movement. In my many years here, Pleasure point was always Live Oak to me, but it has grown up. Now it is its own area with many wonderful restaurants, coffee shops and locally owned stores. Taking years to grow it has blossomed into an area that lives up to its name and is not in the shadow of Capitola or Live Oak. *please note these are my personal observations and knowledge of these areas.
